Six Sigma Fitness operates as an autonomous organization that focuses on assessing health and fitness for the purpose of longevity, weight loss, and improved performance. It functions as an educational hub driven by technology, equipped with a cloud-based application designed for both practitioners and clients. This platform utilizes a combination of scientifically proven and widely accepted population-based formulas and data, along with unique proprietary algorithms, to generate its outcomes.
Almost 20 years ago, we began with a unique goal: to improve how we assess new health and fitness clients in clinical settings. Beginning as merely a large spreadsheet at a time when the Internet was generating a shift from local computer programs to online web based applications, it is now a robust cloud based, database driven technology. This original concept grew into a complete system, firmly anchored in a widely respected scientific method for solving problems known as Six Sigma, which is captured by the DMAIC framework. Similar to the Medical SOAP framework, DMAIC gives us a more action based step by step process to hone in on the most critical issues facing a client or patient. This traditional use and application of the Six Sigma methodology has been around for over 40 years and has spread widely, being adopted across diverse global industries, including health and medicine, clinical and laboratory settings, and major hospital networks. Its use directly in the management of health solutions is a first in the industry pioneered by Six Sigma Fitness.
Post Covid, we started another independent, separately owned but related organization, Six Sigma Systems to use the Six Sigma approach in managing and operating a business organization from digital marketing to business automation and data integration across systems. The Six Sigma Systems proven technology has been integrated to work with different high data security industries including HIPAA, ADA, TCPA. When integrated into Six Sigma Fitness, the two systems act as a business in a box solution for a clinical practitioner’s services.
The Six Sigma Systems team has been collectively starting, managing and growing private and public companies for over 4 decades. The collective team has a deep knowledge and experience in health and wellness and in training and education with a deep interest in technology based systems.
Six Sigma Fitness is led by a mature and experienced team of working practitioners with decades of business and health experience.
Dean Bozzano is a trained physiologist, technologist and entrepreneur practicing in weight loss and performance for the past two decades. His technical expertise lies in health sciences, technology and education. As a partner in what was the world's largest consulting firm at the time, he pioneered business technology applications throughout the 80's and into the 90's. In the 90's as a partner and COO of a Midwest venture capital and private equity firm, he and his partners acquired, started, owned and managed dozens of companies including the largest state and municipality test development and professional licensing company in the US at the time. They sold this business to Sylvan Learning Centers and worked to extend its reach throughout their system utilizing their national computerized test centers working closely with companies such as Educational Testing Service.
Dr David Brown has been an owner entrepreneur in several health entities including E3 Fitology and Advanced Fitness Performance where he has guided and tested the Six Sigma Fitness program development in practice. His contributions to metabolic health analysis and related programming and training of new coach practitioners is the core of the the Six Sigma Fitness Certification and application program.
Six Sigma Systems is a high data security business platform specializing in regulatory compliance solutions to several niche industries including health and medical. Dean has over 2 decades in the digital marketing and business automation industry as well as almost 4 decades of pioneering technology in business settings, and is balanced by his partners who are highly experienced in sales, marketing and strategic management.
Ted Hicks and Scott Benson have built major brands in the medical cannabis industry and managed and grown multi-location physical therapy centers. Scott also started and later sold an award-winning digital production studio, a medical technology platform for drug delivery and a 7,000-person IT outsourcing company focused on enterprise business systems development.
Six Sigma Fitness™️, has been incubating a methodology and delivery technology in the weight loss industry over the past two decades. Our collective interests lie in the health, education and technology sector. This is where we believe we can make the biggest impact.
We are actively evaluating partnership opportunities for Six Sigma Fitness™️ both at the Practitioner level and at the corporate level as it relates to licensed clinical services and oversight. Our purpose in producing this document is to generate ideas or interest as it applies to your business plans and strategies.

Six Sigma Fitness™️ is a clinical system which includes proprietary technology, algorithms and processes. It is both a business in a box and a functional application to deliver scientifically validated health improvement protocols.
It is a Framework that consists of Methodologies, Tools, Practices, Processes/Workflows, Standard Operating Procedures {SOPs), Tasks and Actions Steps supported by a high data security HIPAA compliant Technology backbone that ensures consistent and dependable business applications that increase client results and satisfaction. Its primary focus is on a series of prescribed Assessments, Screens, Tests and Surveys that can be administered by a certified technician using some medical grade equipment. The main equipment used is a medical grade metabolic cart and a medical grade handheld ultrasound in addition to several other testing equipment normally found inside a health clinic like blood pressure, pulse oximeter... We have strategic relationships to secure favorable lease costs on the ultrasound and are working on the metabolic cart systems.

The software EHR, which is one of several tech Tools as we refer to them in our taxonomy, that powers the entire system. It has been built and in various stages of Beta as it is in a evolving feature enhanced state based on field feedback from Practitioners or clients. It has been used in our previous brick and mortar clinics and is currently being used successfully in the fitness and weight loss division of a medical and chiropractic health clinic out east.
It has been actively deployed in professional fight camps in the UFC and Bellator as well as other national and international weight-class performance events, and includes proprietary algorithms, as well as automated intelligence that performs all the analysis and automated reporting on the diagnostics and protocols related to recommended lifestyle, nutrition, movement and supplementation.

The core feature of Six Sigma Fitness is its ability to create instant health reports based on the scientific research we have added to the system to create a micro artificial intelligence bubble. That being said, we are just scraping the surface of what can be done with the system. With the advent of AI, new ideas and opportunities are developing daily.

Its business power is in its unique marketing story and its stickiness in the form of return visits, as well as its ability to make scientifically supported intelligent supplement or even pharmaceutical recommendations for upsell, similar to something we did in a prototype for a chain of Crunch Fitness just a month before the Pandemic hit. We have been waiting for the industry to get back to normal and the right set of circumstances to begin development again.
We have been testing integration between the Six Sigma Fitness application (EHR) and the Six Sigma Systems business technology application and have developed a process to view the Client/Patient data inside the business and operating system itself, making the entire process integrated and seamless. The system is completely HIPAA compliant but it is not focused on insurance based practices and has no insurance based billing system. As a cash based practice, all billing would happen inside the business platform. An insurance based practice could use its traditional EMR to document and bill as normal. It uses a proprietary Six Sigma DMAIC framework in lieu of a traditional SOAP based medical note, but follows similar and actually more formalized guidelines (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve and Control) to manage the client/patient cycle. That being said, it is a database system in which a SOAP note and any other modifications for a specific purpose can be added by the development team in the future.

We have started a module for blood test evaluation that works in the same way as the other automated health reports, but have not progressed recently as that tool can really only be used under the supervision of a licensed medical practitioner. Details of its use in practice will be forthcoming and developed in conjunction with qualified medical personnel. We are also exploring API integration with the laboratory backend to further automate the systems if and when we select an appropriate medical provider for such services.

That being said, at this point very little is required of the licensed practitioner as much of the system can be implemented by a qualified technician. We are in development of a Certified Technician's program for the individual who would administer much of the general health evaluation which focuses on metabolism and our proprietary Regional Adipose Tissue Deposit Profile™️ (RATDP™️) which identifies scientifically supported relationships between subcutaneous adipose tissue deposits or depots to chemical imbalances within the body which lead to weight gain and poor health and performance.

We have spent hundreds of thousands of dollars on the system over the years, and we own the code and the proprietary algorithms. As such, we can make additional changes as we choose to feature enhance the product. We met with Pearson, the 5 billion dollar text book and educational company, pre-Covid to discuss the certification training we were developing. They felt the technician program could be a career path business in a box if implemented properly.

Our executive team at Six Sigma Systems have been incubating a plan to enter the TRT industry. We have done significant research into the industry, its marketing and sources for products and services and have been exploring this opportunity over the past several months. We believe the Six Sigma Fitness system can be the backend technology for such an opportunity.
Part of the Six Sima Fitness™️ long-term business plan entails entering the higher end medical space leveraging the potential of a medical license to perform and interpret health diagnostics generated by the systems, prescribe weight loss and health solutions including estrogens, progesterone, and androgen hormones, thyroid, semaglutide, supplements and other health products.
Market opportunities exist with everything from Chiropractic health clinics using a diet and supplement approach to full blown med spas and weight-loss clinics with licensed medical personnel who were looking to layer on a synergistic revenue source to their practice in the form of weight loss and supplementation sales, that could be leveraged down to a certified technician utilizing the same model we have used in-house for over a decade. It was part of the genesis of how and why Six Sigma Systems entered the high data security HIPAA Compliance space. Six Sigma Fitness is a HIPAA compliant technology and can be used to house specific client data for medical practices. We have also upgraded our digital marketing and business automation system to be HIPAA compliant for medical use.
The key to expanding revenue for health coaches or medical practices is to be able to leverage most of the work down to a lower paid technician and or using technology and automated intelligence systems to perform most of the work.
For example, one of Dean's daughters was a pre-med major and still in college when she trained and certified in the methodologies to work in the Six Sigma Systems clinic as a technician administering the Assessments, Screens, Tests and Surveys and monitoring the evaluations. It is a great job for pre-med students who are interested in clinical experience. In fact, if students are working under the supervision of a qualified licensed medical practitioner, their hours could be counted toward certain educational requirements (e.g., a Physician's Assistants program or what is now going to be called Physician's Associate). She has since gone on to PA school and will be graduating at the top of her class next year finding the experience valuable to her clinical settings today. Additionally, PA's could become instrumental in overseeing any medical examinations and prescriptions related to the evaluations. Arizona, like many states, recently passed legislation that will allow PAs to obtain their own independent license similar to a nurse practitioner after 8000 hours (4 years) working under an MD. At the moment, students who plan to go down this path often work as medical scribes for 18 months at minimum wage to get the doctor's supervision requirement to get into PA school. Our system could have a built in technician program that could substitute for some of the time a prospective PA student must spend as a medical scribe.

Pre-covid, we were looking at the possibilities of adding hormone therapy to the practice, for both males and females especially as it relates to low testosterone conditions plaguing the general male population and menopausal symptoms in females and its effects on weight loss and metabolism, all of which require licensed medical personnel to deliver the pharmaceutical service. We were in conversations to recruit several potential licensed medical practitioners before Covid hit. We have begun to explore this opportunity again this past year.

To train a Certified Technician, we have been creating Certification and Training Programs for several levels and specialties of the health and wellness programs. We have begun building out the LMS natively inside our new business platform which includes a Membership Training and Education Module as we transition from our previous WordPress LMS. We have capabilities to utilize text, graphics, video or PDF inside the lessons. We can attach files for further reference and develop testing for cut scores.

Although we have several channels we could pursue, our collective interest is to find the right partnerships with Six Sigma Fitness to implement an initial program to capitalize on the resources and proprietary technology that we have built.
Our previous discussion pre-Covid with various medical partners required them to provide the medical practitioner to do the consults, write the prescriptions, and follow up with the client on a monthly basis. We would train the technicians and make all the systems available to them to support the services. In addition, they would provide digital media such as video marketing messages as needed and agreed upon by the collective partnership. We requested them to supply a qualified nurse practitioner or PA to perform consults as needed. This practitioner would be billed to the NewCo at an agreed upon and competitive market rate. Given that things have changed since Covid, we would revisit the cost structure of the personnel required in a more formalized plan and analysis.
Prior to Covid, one of our entities (UltraFit Systems) was the active entity providing business technology to several clients and to Six Sigma Fitness. During that period when much of the market had gone dormant we re-strategized the business infrastructure, from which Six Sigma Systems was created as the successor organization to develop the business applications and marketing strategies.
Much the way Six Sigma Fitness provides the operational backbone knowledge and technology to work with the client/patient, as the business systems solutions provider, Six Sigma Systems technology manages the business and administration of the organization and is responsible for the knowledge base and tools to generate leads, cultivating interest and booking of the lead into the practice, in addition to following up after consultations to manage public reputation, customer satisfaction and secure ongoing new and recurring revenue opportunities.
I have included a sample customized Health Report from the system that is automatically generated in literally seconds after final completion of the chosen Assessments, Screens, Tests and Surveys. You will find it as a long image attached to the very bottom of this page. The report is available to the Client/Patient through a health dashboard on the HIPAA compliant health portal which is part of the EHR system. The client/patient facing portal is device responsive for mobile viewing as well. The same report with more data is available to the Practitioner to review during a follow-up consult. The potential to expand the customization and dynamic intelligence of the system is exponential and untapped.

There is much more beyond this that we have created and embedded into the system such as a macronutrient profile sent directly to a meal plan provider or a dynamically generated customized targeted button for a bundle of supplements to be purchased. We have even created one of the only known add-on modules for weight-class athletes that analyzes their height, weight, body composition and RMR to determine exactly how much fat, muscle tissue and water weight will be required to be lost to make weight safely. We can also determine optimal weight-class targets for an athlete and can analyze and target the current NCAA regulations on weight loss for wrestling which have generally been adopted across all the states for high school as well.
We have a backlog of ideas in development and more that can be done with this technology but we are going to prioritize the Product Market Fit to the early adopters we partner with for the system.
Interested parties should contact us directly to discuss this further.
